Formed in 1927, The American Women's Club of Amsterdam is a vibrant and diverse group of over 250 individuals, ranging from newcomers to long-time residents of Holland, including areas like Amsterdam, Haarlem, 't Gooi, and beyond.

As "International Americans," we embrace life abroad while staying true to our American roots. We strengthen the bond between the Netherlands and the United States through public outreach, activities, and cultural events.

We provide a welcoming environment where everyone feels at home. Through our events and activities, we offer opportunities for personal growth and cultural exchange. Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP)

The U.S. Department of State recently launched a new version of the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP). STEP is a free service for U.S. citizens living or traveling abroad to receive safety and security alerts and other local updates by email from the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. If there’s an emergency, it also helps us contact you with instructions on what to do. If you were previously enrolled in STEP, be sure to re-enroll to take advantage of new features and to continue to receive alerts. All U.S. citizens are strongly encouraged to enroll (or re-enroll) at step.state.gov.
