About AWCA
Our Mission

The American Women's Club of Amsterdam (AWCA) is a volunteer organization that provides a community for American and non-American women in the Netherlands with close ties to the United States.

Our Goal

We celebrate diversity and cultivate a welcoming environment for all members, regardless of their background. Our mission is to ensure everyone finds their place in our community.

Our Key Objectives

  • Embrace the Dutch experience while honoring American traditions
  • Provide opportunities for community involvement and philanthropy
  • Enjoy cultural, educational, sports, and family activities
  • Support one another and build lifelong friendships
  • Network with other professionals in the community

The Club Today

Our club, formed in 1927, has grown into a vibrant community of over 300 members, including residents of Amsterdam, Haarlem, 't Gooi, and beyond. Despite the changing world, our commitment to support, celebrate, and connect women remains strong. We adapt to the needs of our members, meeting both in person and through our online platforms.
