Newcomer's Guide

A’Sisters

Welcome to AWCA and A'Sisters! An A'Sister is an AWCA member who has volunteered to welcome and support our new members, particularly new arrivals to the Amsterdam area. We are here to help you get your bearings and introduce you to club activities. A'Sisters are matched with newcomers in their neighborhoods and will meet for coffee or wine or a walk in the park. It is nice to have at least one familiar face when joining a new club, and we hope that will be your A'Sister! Even if you have lived in the area for a while, your A'Sister will help you feel at home with us as a new club member. Any questions or to volunteer to be an A'Sister, email asisters@awca.nl.
