Who will be the president of the United States for the next four years? This question is more relevant than ever in these turbulent geopolitical times. On November 5th, the American people will decide the course of their divided nation in an unstable world. Will Donald Trump get a second chance, or will Kamala Harris take the helm and become the first female president to sit in the Oval Office?

Follow the results—and much more—on the fated night itself. The John Adams Institute is teaming up with BKB | Het Campagnebureau and the Netherlands Atlantic Association to organize the premier U.S. elections event in The Netherlands. Join us from 7:30 pm until deep in the night as we analyze the parties’ campaigns as well as the American political landscape.

Join us and our star-studded lineup of experts, journalists, opinion makers, and political junkies for an unforgettable, festival-style night while the fate of the United States is decided—and the impact on the Netherlands and the rest of the world: go head-to-head with fellow attendees and test your U.S. trivia skills or sit back and listen to author Christine Otten and street artist Mick LaRock discuss the influence of American culture on art overseas. Debate the end of the Pax Americana with Haroon Sheikh and Jaap de Hoop Scheffer or join journalist Nathan Thrall while he tells us about his Pulitzer Prize winning book. Learn how to line dance, gain insight into the role music and activism play in the U.S. political scene, or head to a mini lecture on the Supreme Court. And late in the evening, tune into CNN and Fox News while the votes come rolling in. More updates on the program will follow a.s.a.p.

Note: Tickets can be purchased via the Tolhuistuin website while supplies last. Previous editions were sold out in record time. More information on the program will be released in the coming months. American-style food and drink will be available throughout the evening. Part of the programming will be in Dutch.

For this special event there are no complimentary tickets or reserved seats available.

In collaboration with: BKB | Het Campagnebureau & the Netherlands Atlantic Association
