Location
Stem in de Stad, Haarlem

Every Monday between 9:30 and 13:00, an AWAC Haarlem Area baker delivers baked goods for Stem in de Stad, for Stem's Monday afternoon coffee gathering.

We bake weekly for 25-30 people making sure that each person has enough, plus some leftovers to be served at the evening meal on Monday evening. We work with a weekly schedule, filled 2 months in advance, meaning we currently each bake once or twice in 2 months.

We are also invloved in 4-5 seasonal lunches where we spend the middle of the day (10am - 14:00 or so) cooking for and serving to between 30 and 70 people, visitors and volunteers of Stem in de Stad. These meals are scheduled by Stem with about a month's notice to us, and sometimes include special requests, like a wedding cake or sandwiches for a special guest (Prime Minister Jetten).

Stem in de Stad is a foundation started 30 years ago in Haarlem to provide help to vulnerable people in the area who are not always heard or seen. They offer safety and tranquility for their 55,000 visitors per year via a large variety of programs and projects including meals and coffee gatherings.
