This year, we're introducing a new column – "Favorite Place NL." Members are encouraged to share their favorite spots in Holland, whether it's a restaurant, museum, park, or any other place they enjoy in Amsterdam or beyond.
September 2024 - Caramba's - Debbie Veldt It was tough to choose, but my favorite place in Amsterdam is Caramba's, a Mexican-inspired restaurant in the Jordaan. It’s special because it’s where I went with Otto (my future husband) when he first showed me around, many years ago. Over the years, we’ve returned with friends and later with our kids, always sharing the story of our first “date” in Amsterdam. The place has changed – the decor, the owner, the food quality – but it’s still a fun spot. Caramba's |  |
